I am having my own doubts if the semen thus collected artificially can be used for the purpose of breeding in the racing horses or what! I am into the horse breeding, we are breeding the Thoroughbreds, I am the Chief Vet on the one of the reputed Stud Farms in India and the rules strictly says that to have a foal from the mare we must use a stallion for breeding and he must mount the mare physically in the act of copulation to make her pregnant! Artificial insemination is a big "NO" in this business!

Actually artificial insemination is highly favored especially if you want an imported race horse champion to impregnate your mares. Many farmers don't want stallions on their farms and only keeps girls. They sell the males for horse racing. They want mares only because girls are less violent.

If your stallion is a race champion, Mare breeders will want a peace of him. Its also cheaper to buy horse sperm than bringing a horse from UK to your country.

I think giving your own blood can help you earn something. I read some medical research need human blood for testing meds so they pay for it. I read about it in US. I don't mean you take meds, you just give blood.

Well Horses got milked the way human men are milk. So it is not fatal for them. There is a horse blow up doll they mount to collect their white gold.

I used to bet in horse racing here and I have connections in the horse racing industry. Champion horses command a high price for breeding while those "also ran" are almost for free in breeding. But not all offspring of champion horses become champions.
