Selling Sports Related Equipments during World Cup

Postby SUPERSINGH » 14 Nov 2019, 13:53

I feel selling Sports related equipments like Cricket bat, ball and other gears during Cricket World cup is a good option to make money and in the same way equipments related to other sports like Badminton, Tennis, Football etc. But there won't be any easy money so need to work hard.

Cricket is popular in India and Asian countries and the demand for it's products is through out the year but the demand rose during ICc events or during Indian Premier league.

Yes, I missed Indian premiere league and it's important because it's played during that time when schools are off so kids can easily enjoy their passion for the game.

One shop made a lot of Money during last football World Cup. Croatia was second but they were only who sold new shirts. All other shops were selling old shirt models. It was copy of new model, but very, very similar. Some details were different. They sold hundreds shirts per day. They even start block online orders since to many people ask shirts.

In the collegiate league, a friend sold printed t-shirts but on a per order basis only. He is good with the design and lettering. He earned so much in one season.

Definitely, a lot of people in my home country do this alot but it always the men doing it, it seems the females are never interested. Those selling these sport stuff during any sporting activities make good money but as you have stated it needs one working very hard on it

Though the sports equipment pertaining to any game or sport is regularly sold in the market , but special occasions like World Cup, IPL, 20-20 Tournament add more to the business as the people are in different mood and they feel by playing the game they are supporting their home team! That way in India people are crazy about the sport Cricket!

I think usually during the sports match has into more demand for the sales. But once the season wears off the amount of the demand is also reduced in such case.

I see kids busy playing and they like to copy their favorite cricketer in all aspects batting , bowling or fielding and even how they take catches so they are very attached and that's why they demand for cricket quipments during this time.

They are able to make greater profits during this time and since India plays a lot of cricket there are lots of opportunities to make money from this and since ICC is already working on a model where each year or every 2 years there will be an ICC tournament and with yearly IPL the sellers will be having great time.

Cricket is most popular in South East Asia especially India so your friend can open another store in India.

These stores are very profitable because the equipments never go out of fashion and they include the team jerseys which are always in demand.

Selling jerseys will be easier as compared to equipments because everyone can wear the jersey and these are popular throughout the year.
