Wrestling fans are not dumb, Wrestling Lingos like Babyface and heels exists for a reason. Wrestling fans watches for Storylines and athleticism. Also MMA is boring and I watch MMA in a regular. Wrestling is like watching real life superheroes and supervillains. Its drama for men to watch. I don't know why casuals keep saying its fake like wrestling fans dont know it. There is a reason why many villain wrestlers gets cheered these days.

Wrestlers have shorter lives than MMA fighters. MMA fighters got beat up twice a year. Though wrestling is scripted, Kick in the head, submissions and taking a bump hurts for real. It is scripted but it hurts. There is higher injury and fatality with wrestling than MMA. MMA fighters have better healthcare than wrestlers. Many wrestlers don't live by 60 because they take a bump everyday.

Wrestlers are refusing Vince now though especially the non white ones after the treatment of most non white and non North American wrestlers. Also all that injury, depression and unhappy morale they experienced make people avoid him and decline him. Many wrestlers prefers to go for AEW now because they have the same salary for less work. WWE superstars makes houseshows everyday, that's why half the roster are injured.

AEW wrestlers will only wrestle on tv and not on house shows for the same payment. If I am a wrestler I will rather work for AEW because not only I have healthcare, I will be treated more humanely. WWE currently have multiple injury and racism lawsuits.

AEW just beat Nxt, the best wwe show in ratings, Hell in a cell got lots of negative reviews, They only give championship to non White wrestlers if they are villains.... WWE is getting a lot of negative press lately. I can see AEW beating them in few years if they will not fix their storylines, treatment of wrestlers and respect to fans which are their consumers.

I have noticed as well even if I know that there is a story line, that the fights are for real. Some wrestlers (not all of them, because some of them get special treatments) get a serious beat up. And that happens every week. Smart wrestlers move to a different show business after couple of years of wrestling (like Rock did), because they want to stay healthy.

AEW wrestlers are treated better, They get same payment for less work and they were given creative freedom.
