In India we can't bet on the sports.

That is illegal throughout the country.

But from the 29 states and 7 union territories which comes to 36 entities Sikkim is the only state in the Country where one can bet on the sports legally.

In rest of the states it is an offense!

Can you bet on sports in yiur country legally? Do you have legal Book makers?

I live in Europe and over here, you can literally bet on anything, not just on sports. There are betting companies everywhere and we also have the possibility to bet online - with many options available. I've never placed a bet, tho.

There is a growing trend or at least "interest" in doing such things. I think it will have a negative impact on the gamblers and the integrity of the sporting events. There is a possibility that the outcome of an event can be influenced by which direction the winds blow the gambling dollars. Even if it is already happening unlawfully can't anyone foresee things getting worse?

That would be a good move! We are already having betting on sports and it is a big mafia going on! if legalized then the Government can earn a considerable amount of revenue in the form of tax, which presently it is losing! In fact betting and gambling should be legalized in India! Thanks!

in my country sport betting is free and legal provided one is above 18 and an adult then one is good to go. There are different betting companies in.my country so one can decide to try out anyone but personally I don't fancy them though I see mostly the men doing the bet but I see such venture as waste of money.

There are still small lotteries around in my area and obviously, it's illegal but it's fine. Meanwhile, online betting or sports betting is unsure but you can always use payment method like Bitcoins to not be tracked.

In UK you can legally bet. But not in asia, they have laws that prevent people from that.

Not only in the USA but in most advanced countries sports betting is legit unless of course cruality or porn is involved.

Yes in my country it is legal to bet on sports. The illigeal betting in my country is just the lotto lottery, the rest are legal.

Usually, online betting is the most common to bet using cryptos or payment processors like Perfectmoney to bet. Because, those methods usually don't have tracking or means to refund or irreversible transactions.

Betting on sports is something that I definitely do not want to get involved in. Once you get in it will be tough to get out; furthermore the influence of millions if not billions of dollars will no doubt affect aspects of the game whether we realize it is happening or not. Gambling on sports will promote the wrong activity by managers, players, referees, umpires, judges and fans. There is already enough cheating and bending of the rules why do we need more degradation? It will not be helpful to the game or to our minds.
