Yes, it's important to reach as many people as possible and interact with them constantly.
I've started following more people, it's something I forget doing, and I think that helps too. Maybe not everyone checks the section with discussions of those they follow, but at least I make sure I will appear on the page of the few who do, when I follow and they follow back.

I've never felt the urge to follow people because since I am there a few times every day it is easy for me to scroll the 'Most Recent Discussions' list to see a preview of every discussion posted by everybody and I respond to what grabs my attention most.

I know, I noticed you only follow the admins.
To be honest, I'm doing the same. It's mostly about what other people do at this point.
I usually check the "Most Recent" too because many of the users I follow are inactive and, as I hadn't been around in a while, I don't follow most of the active ones. Might have to do some cleaning.

New user leaving myLot because "My article has been deleted and that’s not right. As far as I could see, I did nothing wrong. There is always confusion with these sites and they get taken down."

Of course, totally ignoring that their post was an advertisement for one of their podcast channels. It is always myLot's fault and not their fault for not reading the Guidelines/FAQ pages.

I popped into MyLot a few days and everything is just as I left it, with the exception that some members are talking about being on Noise.Cash now. I remember when I mentioned payment in Bitcoin Cash, some of the folks were kind of turned off by it. But I see that not everybody was turned off.

I think Mylot have a stricter rules... Though I understand it mostly when they've deleted some of my post like my own poetry that I already shared to other site still I feel like they should reconsider it. Especially when I just attached it as an image...

This month has been a good one for me. I am being regular there and trying to make at least one discussion there daily. Though I am not there for more time, I found that one post a day makes good difference to our earnings. I have made $3 plus so far and I hope to make few dollars more than the minimum in this month. I will be more active for the rest of the days in the month to do so. I have some money rolling from last month and I expect a good amount next month.

They are even much more stricter back then. 2 people cannot make a thread about the same topic a decade ago.

Not just a payday but PaYdAy...
It's kind of exciting to discover what message is sent with the payment. Sometimes it's fun.

cmoneyspinner wrote:I remember when I mentioned payment in Bitcoin Cash, some of the folks were kind of turned off by it. But I see that not everybody was turned off.

It takes time for people to trust something new, but it can definitely happen. :D

I noticed that too. I guess posting daily helps you get more interaction and stay motivated.
Perhaps interactions to your own discussions such as views, likes and responses hold more value than the likes and comments you get to your responses on other people's discussions...
Well, I don't know. What I'm sure about is that discussions come with more types of interaction, therefore more potential earnings.

I don't see MyLot has having strict rules about content. It's a social community and people socialize. If you have a website where you want to earn, they allow you to put the link in your profile. But you can't write posts and then direct people to your monetized sites because they did not set up the site for that purpose. I never had a post deleted unless I deleted it myself.

Currently, I am writing about weather, Sports- mainly Olympics and well also involved in a discussion about the floods in Germany and surrounding nations in Europe. I plan to be more active this weekend. Some new users are getting quite active on Mylot.

I think mylot works better for current topics because everyone will have something to say on the topic.

I am not initiating any of my own discussions. That's another thing I like about MyLot. You can earn just by commenting at the discussions of others.

I'd have to get 58 cents in the next 13 hours to reach a $15 payout for August, can't decide if I wanna go for it or not but I'll have to start soon if I do.
