OMG! their brain goes to sleep when they do this scamming and copy-pasting. I mean you already do a job that needs no brain but at least use your common sense and do it smartly that it takes some time to catch you.

Either that website is so popular or I don't know. It doesn't seem big money worth of cheating. Same here, what is the use? :wtf:

You'll chat your life there to earn cents for the whole day.

Then you're doing something wrong. You don't get paid for your own chatting, and different types of received interaction pay differently.

At least they know their brainless job is not worth much. :D

Well, if you manage to chat all day you might even earn a full dollar. Earnings seem to have improved, it must be the pop-up ads or ads have become better in general.
Like JolietJake said, earnings don't depend on your activity but the interactions you receive, but I give for granted that "chatting" involves at least two parties.

To be perfectly honest, the highest-paid interaction does not involve chatting. A view (even without a response or a 'like') to a discussion you wrote is the highest paid interaction you can receive.

I didn't know views mattered.
Because they're invisible, we don't know how many users see our discussions. How did you find that out?

It is the very first earning condition mentioned in the earning FAQ: "If no one reads what you wrote (this is a view but only from a registered member of myLot, outside views do not count for earnings), interacts with it (this means leaves a response or comment directed to you by a notification), or otherwise considers it interesting (this refers to a 'like'), then you likely won't earn anything."

So it is to be taken literally? I've never seen it that way, interesting perspective.
Now I'm wondering how many myLot members know this, because I didn't until today.

But then the condition says "you likely won't earn anything", if we were to take that "likely" literally... well, there's a tiny little chance we can earn without any interaction. Okay, this might be too much.

Most people don't realize it, and neither I nor Admin really mention it often, but if you are there long enough you'll see it mentioned on rare occasions. I've tossed out a few discussions over the years mentioning I don't care if anyone responds or not, that simply opening it and reading it is good enough for me, and that the best way to earn is to get people interested in what you have to say...remaining a bit oblique about it, but I know a few people have managed to put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4.

However, neither Admin nor I could tell you exactly how much you earn for each of those received interactions (one reason being because they can fluctuate depending on how the site is earning)...only myLotBugs (the owner) knows and he ain't telling anyone.

DUDE! That's incredible! No wonder this member got banned.

Why do people even bother to join a site if they are not going to follow the rules? What are they thinking? Or maybe it was just a robot. :?

Then suggest me how I'll improve my earnings at mylot? Cos I'm fade up with the low reward system that might take me ages to reach the minimum withdrawal threshold if i continue on my current way.

You aren't even attempting to work the site and get to know anyone, really. 1 discussion, 4 responses, and 10 comments made 4 days ago? And you're already 'tired' of it? Maybe it just isn't for you.

First of all, follow the Golden Rule, treat others the way you want to be treated.
When someone takes their time to interact with you (such as responding to your discussion), try your best to reply with that response by liking and leaving a comment (so you interact back).
You may also check their profile, look at their discussions and like and respond.
Most users give up responding to a person if they never get an interaction back.

Generally, the more people see you, the more they're going to interact.
Discussions are those that earn the most, try to create one or two daily.

A few days ago, just by creating a discussion (and doing some responding and commenting) I made $0.20... and I didn't even get a lot of replies, so you can make more than that, every single day.
Sure, you might not be able to reach $5 by the end of this month, so you won't paid next month. But still, on August, you can get paid. Doesn't sound like ages to me. :?

Views from mylot users, likes, comments and responses...all make us earn there. The algorithm is tough to understand but it is quite clear the more reactions your actions bring, the better you earn. And so you need to be active and interactive for actions. Without actions, there would be no reaction. I feel that the site is a good place to chat and enjoy. Earning happens slowly but steadily.

Do I need to write a lot of topics and discussions before I can earn? Do I have to be active on it throughout the day? Maybe I can try it out but I want to figure out those questions first.

You do not earn for your own actions, you earn for the interaction you get from other users. You could theoretically write 1,000 discussions and not earn a dime if they do not receive any type of interaction from someone.

You can start by introducing yourself and comment on others discussions. Let the others know you. If you interact, respond and like their discussions and comments they will surely retribute.

MyLot is a very social site. You can't pop in, do a little bit, leave for several days and then come back expecting to see earnings. That's not how the site is set up. It's set up for you to interact with others. I have to say that interacting at MyLot is very easy to do. Just chime on a lively discussion and say something a little more substantive that than "That's nice dear." Engage in the conversation. But even if you start a thread and people don't comment but they click "Like" you can still earn. MyLot is not rocket science. It's low reward for some. But for others they do pretty good. I've been there since 2017. I've earned.

If my language could help me a little bit I will be able to earn more but many people refrain from answering due to poor language .
