I bet that person emails the admins how much he/she doesn't deserve the banning because some people have delusions that they can't do no wrong.

What if it is really their work that they have shared? But posted already in another site... What's the best thing to do? It is really hard when we posted something that was our own and being deleted like it was not ours...

There is a discussion by Admin that very plainly states you may not 'share' things you have posted anywhere else. myLot is for posts original to the site.

people are trying to use mylot as money churning site. It is a discussion board where you can earn but not a site that will substitute for your day job.

Not to draw too fine of a line, but there sure are a lot of mental cases there (and I can say that because I am pretty much one too). It seems most of them don't realize they are a bit mental though...and it probably does them a bit of good to have somewhere to interact socially because in real life people would probably run away screaming.

Understood... Anyway, poems do not draw crowd there... Maybe I will just concentrate on simple things since that's what where members most comment...

I have already noticed that too but in the end, those are good people and maybe they use Mylot as an escape from their real life.

Mylot definitely serves that purpose very well. We all have our hesitation to open up or vent in front of known people. We fear being judged and ridiculed. Doing the same with virtual friends is much easier and mylot is a great platform for it. And I find people give listening ears and support too.
And on top of that you earn pennies for that interactions. Most of other site don't encourage such things. Many forums out there have General chat as non paid section or with minimal payment

I agree about Mylot as venting... And venting our problem in writings truly helps there especially there are a number of members there who are very willing to give advice..

$16.1236 for May earnings, not huge but still not bad. And no, I am not spending hours and hours each day on the site, if I was going to do that I'd get $40 or more each month.

I reached the minimum but I wasn't very active this month. Yes, there are users that only use Mylot and they can earn over $40 each month.

The site always pays on the day they pay out. They have been late one day in the past 15 years.

Yes, it is an excellent place to pass our time in a quality manner after the day's hectic work! This is a virtual World where we meet our friends and discuss the day to day affair! I love to participate on this site if I have ample of time with me!

That's great, well done to them. JolietJake do you know if the site is owned by a single person or is it owned and run as a business? Thanks

Wow! That's a good earning there. $40 would be really good. And I know many active members there have that as a goal and they do make it too. The best part there is that you do not need to send a payment request and they automatically pay you on time. :)

To the best of my knowledge it is owned by one person. Years ago (pre-2013) it was listed as owned by Wasinger Tech but it seems that entity has ceased operations as a business.
