Re: Starting a business with a partner?

Postby Cody » 11 Sep 2023, 05:57

For my own peace of mind, I don't like any kind of partnership business that much. But if I must indulge in such, I would prefer to be a sleeping partner with clearly defined terms to avoid clashes in management of the business because I am a strong willed person .

I don't like getting into partnerships, I prefer to be a sole proprietor and hire workers. But it I have no choice, I will be real careful who I get into partnership with.

BitShocker wrote:I actually advise against this. Most partnerships tend to dissolve as most folks don't seem to be able to get along when money starts getting involved in relationships. Preferably, pursue a small and easy-manageable business by yourself and avoid the hassles that partnerships bring to the table - they are almost, always problematic.

I think it is possible to handle this challenge by adopting legally-binding clauses and provisions that clearly spell out the roles and rights of each partner.
Such course of action is bound to preserve the interests of each partner, in the event that humanity's inherent greed and selfishness ruin the arrangement.

Before you get involved in any partnership business with anyone it is important and necessary that you have an agreement that could spell the role of each partner in the business. This helps to prevent crisis in business..

There ae pros as well as cons of partnership business. One of the great disadvantages of partnership business is lack of trust. However, you can easily overcome this by signing a proper contract.

If that is what you want then it's a good idea I believe if you can do it alone it's much better than having a partner ,but if your capital is not enough you can go into partnership

If we look more serious business partners are hard find and if you hope that you will just meet a person on the street for a serious business partnership, you are wrong. The search for a business partner can take a long time.
