I don't find cricket as interesting as soccer but it is good since some countries are doing well in it and getting top honours.

No matter how we want to make it look good, cricket as a sports won't ever be as big as soccer.

No matter .... as big as soccer.

While Soccer has a much wider following as compared to Cricket, Cricket is gaining ground in hitherto uninterested countries like US, China, Nepal and even Argentina.
Its popularity is picking up in Rwanda, Namibia and in Netherlands.
A key differentiator would be when cricket gets a place in the Los Angeles Olympics 2028 in its shortest format : T 20.
And believe me, once Big Corporates in US and China and a few more places get more interested in Cricket, it would spread even more.
It is another thing that too much commercialization in Cricket is taking away a lot from its charm.

The values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship that cricket promotes make it a sport worth investing in.

The passion and enthusiasm for the sport in India is unmatched, with millions of fans tuning in to watch matches and supporting their favorite teams. This love for cricket has also translated into a thriving business, with the Indian Premier League being one of the most lucrative and popular cricket leagues in the world.
