I have not checked Discussion hub in a long time, maybe few months. It was not paid to post. But they had these monthly contests of top posters. That was motivating and I could earn some bit there. Then that was stopped and the activities declined.
I enjoyed the site. I really wish that they could have a paid to post mode.

Is it still open for users if index forum after merging to become package team members on admin junkies? How does the process work?

I think it is best to contact the owner of Admin Junkies regarding that. I think the merge has been completed
