Yeah. I also observed it. There is one writer with only 400+ articles, is a verified user while another writer with 1400+ articles is not. Anyone can easily verify this from the "users" page on virily. So, it is not clear what criteria they are adopting to declare a user as a verified user. They are not saying anything about it in FAQs too. Communication is totally missing on virily.

You can check the virils you earn in your dashboard in the section Virils, I have just checked mine and I have my daily 10 virils for visiting the site.

It's not a mystery. There rules are clearly spelled out at the site in their FAQ Section. Or at least it was at one time. I remember reading them. I was going to aim for becoming Verified but now I'm not interested. I'm not even sure they are Verifying members any more. They keep silent about so many things and leave us guessing.

As far as I remember there is just one post by a virily editor which says your articles must be original , you need to have been here for a year and such -but they never followed any of the guidelines the last time they promoted members to verified category.

There are some changes in the site, now we no longer earn for viewing others posts, we only earn with our own posts, if people view and comment there we earn. We still earn virils for daily login and every time one of our posts is approved.

It looks like the earning of points is being trimmed. It is so hard to earn 2 cents in a day.

That is true, but then each site has its own idiosyncrasies , if earning was faster it is easier to over this these, but with the clamping of earning opportunities it is tough to stay on , not know what we will get at the end of the month for all our efforts.
Transparency is another major issue here.
