Yes. If the views are unique. I mean if the person who viewed it has seen the content for the first time I still get virils. Today I earned 3 virils because someone viewed one of my posts.

So basically what the Virily Editors have done is ... they are no longer giving a member credit for viewing and commenting; they are only rewarding the content creator if they get views and comments.

It's kind of like Pay-Per-View. The viewer doesn't get any credit for the activity. But the writer does get credit. It's fair to the writer. But it gives the member no motivation to want to view the content or comment. So in essence the writer earns less because the viewer has no monetary incentive.

The people who are there now still submitting content and commenting are the Loyalists. That's what I call them. That is, they are remaining loyal to the site. Most of them are Verified and so they don't have to wait for their content to be approved. They could be there all day generating content and still earn, even if nobody views and/or leaves comments. But I'm neither a Verified member and sorry to say but it's true, I'm not a Loyalist either. The incentives to view and comment have been removed for me. Because it takes so long to approve my posts, I have sort of lost motivation to submit content as well. But that's just me. :)

I think it is much harder now to collect the minimum. I need $ 2 to have $ 10 for payout. If something doesn't change on the site I'm not sure I'll collect the minimum again. For now, Virily pays regularly.

Yes, that is true, Virily pays regularly and despite all the changes that we have seen it never failed our payments.
Right now I will work to reach the minimum, as I need less than $1 to reach the minimum.

I am a different kettle of fish You can say I am a loyalist Although I am a verified user I do not write more than 4 posts a day. Once we get paid for the first 50 views no point in our posts being seen unless they are commented on.

Is it so? Is it true? Is it laid down in their FAQs or your own assumption?

It is not an assumption but a studied observation. The virils stay put even after I get notifications that my posts have been viewed. I did a count and after 50 views I do not get paid for further views but there is no limit on comments.

You know Admin never updates on changes made and so it is left to us to go hunting for changes if any.

This is a sad thing that virily is a legit website but they have the habit of not updating any changes and you need to figure out things yourself

I might work on Virily again since I have some extra time.

The rates have changed. Yes. You get just one viril when you view posts but the author gets 3 virils and not 5 virils which was what was being paid earlier. You no longer earn on comments you make on posts of others but you get 2 virils on comments others make on your post.
It is better if you create posts if you want to earn something at Virily. You earn 2 virils on comments you make on your own post.

With these changes. It may be a warning that the site is about to fold

I'm confused on this. I am pretty sure another member said they were limiting comments also. It's not a member here at FC. They are a member at Virily. I am almost positive she said they had placed limits on commenting. Can you clarify?

You do not earn anything while viewing others posts - we used to get a viril but not any more.

May be I did not reach the limit and so kept getting virils for the comments. What did that member say the limit was?

Communication is one of Virily's major flaws. They are continuing to work on the site so I think they might update the FAQ very soon, only time can tell
People who have been off the site for sometime will be really confused about how things work there.
The silly thing is just to stop a few people from playing the system they change the whole way of earning.
People will continue to talk to themselves on their own thread.

It doesn't take much time to edit the Faqs or add another section which can make things easier for all members.

I am so sorry. I can't remember now. I just remember her being upset because evidently every day she worked hard to reach ALL of the limits and was upset when she saw the limit had decreased. I told her I had not even noticed because I only ever wrote a few comments per day and then signed out. She knew all the limits for viewing, commenting, everything! I never paid attention to that. :?

Neither did I, Virily isn't my main site, I work there but I never really paid attention to their rates, at the beginning they were good and that was enough for me.

For all you know they probably have more changes coming, maybe they will edit it once all the changes have been done. Just my guess though.
I am waiting and watching to see how this pans out.

I know who you are talking about. I have posted an article where I did pose a question on this This user has commented saying she is not sure if a limit is set on comments.

I need around $1.40 to reach payment so now I start to make comments and more posts because what I believe is the only way to earn now.

I just left a comment on a post on Virily but I didn't receive any notification for the earned virils even after checking the notification tab. Can I know if we are earning virils for it or not?

You will not get Virils for comments made on other users posts. You will get Virils when others comment on YOUR post and your own comments on your post.

Last two months I didn't reach that amount, earnings were too low and I am afraid this month it will be even worst.
