I have noticed that you have cut down quite a bit. It has been a while since you have posted a discussion. Hey you have to do what makes you happy. I enjoy our conversations and we do talk about numerous topics that have strayed so far from the original topic. But that is what it is all about like @nela13 said.

I KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU MEAN!

I get irritated when (and that particular user is often guilty of this) someone doesn't even skim my post enough to say something relevant. Like, for example, if I write something about how I tried a new recipe for dinner, but my stove caught fire and we had to go out to an overcrowded buffet, and the place was swarming with flies, but I've posted a picture of what I was trying to make... and some joker will comment "Yum! Looks great, I hope everyone liked it!" :problem:

How do people like that think they are going to make any money? Why would they expect someone to comment or like a comment like that? People are just lazy. If you can't be bothered to read what you are commenting on then just pass it by. People are just irritating sometimes.

There are no posting limits. You can pop in and out all day and all night. Keep a tab open and work in between other stuff you're doing online.

I have to revisit these comments because lately it has not been paying for me to even pop in and out at MyLot. The nice people are still there and I still like the Admin folks but ... I don't know if it's my imagination ... but whereas the earnings process was always slow ... it seems like earning has gotten waaaayyy slower! As a result, I hardly ever sign in these days. Other forums and communities are earning quicker, so that's where I spend my time.

There is no doubt it is indeed slow but it pays. I have now got 25 plus over a period of 3 months which is quite good in my opinion

If you say so. I didn't really notice that in times past. But I only slowed down on my MyLot activity because it was a really slow process of earning. Both Forum Coin and MyLot have a payout minimum of $5. I've been paid many times by Forum Coin and sometimes I'm just talking to myself! My posts get ignored. It's not the same with MyLot and since the earnings model is not the same and if you're like me you don't have the patience to keep waiting and waiting and waiting for those pennies to add up ... then you go with a site where the earnings are quicker.

Postloop also has a minimum of $5 and pays me quicker.

At Beer Money Forum, there are people here who want to trade my coinsI earn there and I can earn that way. I've never even been paid by BMF and their minimum is $1. People keep buying my BMF coins from me!

Virily just paid me and that's another site that's easier to earn than MyLot.

Also, now that I'm doing the cryptocurrency faucets, claiming bitcoins, litecoins, etc. which is time-consuming, my activity is paying off.

With all that going on ... MyLot sort of slipped through the cracks. It's a nice site. Maybe I'll dedicate a 1 or 2 hours each day for the month of August and see if I notice a difference in my earnings amount. Just to test out the "consistency theory".

I think the same way.In the past I have spent even couple of hours in Mylot to see,if my earnings there will go up,and I have received summing up all the interactions 0.15$,which was absolutely not worth my time.I like Mylot,it is entertaining, there is a nice community, but from the earning point of view,it is a slow earning site.

MYLOT needs a mixture of everything to be worthwhile, interaction is not just about commenting or replying, adding 2-3 discussions sometimes helps with more earnings. it slow but one needs to be really be active.

I have noticed that too, most people don't read discussions they just give their own different views and most times it doesn't even relate with what was discussed or written or could it be the issue of understanding the discussion, I can't really tell.

For me, definitely Mylot is not a good earning site. But I am always going there for some interaction. Though I don't have much friends there, I still go and enjoy interaction when I have no one to talk to. There is something like a personal talk with every person in the discussion.

There are few like that who have patented replies like that for every response and they just kill the interaction much before it starts. They really frustrate you at times. But fortunately we have enough users there who are interested in carrying forward good interactions.

I think mylot is the first paid to post forum on the world wide web. I have tried mylot and I can really vouch for this site. However, these days I am not active there.

There are some users with whom it is easy to interact, the conversation keeps rolling naturally. If people don't want to ininteraction Mylot is not the right site for them.

I will give you a strategy on how to handle such people. Instead of straight up commenting to them. Comment on the participation of a Mylot friend. The Mylot friend you have who participated there will give you the discussion.

You can have an enjoyable discussion with the discussions created by the snobbish or lazy to reply topic creators by commenting on someone else's comment. Particularly someone who is a Mylot friend.

This is true. I don't think about that, I just ignore those that like to end the conversations before they even begin. I have heard that some of them don't like it when you start a conversation on their discussions with someone other than them. Personally, if people want to talk among themselves on my discussion have at it.

You and me. My first experience after having been at more than one site that promised to pay and didn't? When I first saw pennies accumulating in my MyLot account, I thought it was a mistake! I had been disappointed so many time already. When I realized it was real, I was active at first and it did pay me. No broken promises. But then someone on MyLot actually directed me to Forum Coin.
So! I'm faithful to both of them but more faithful to Forum Coin. <3
Hey! I wasted a lot of time at sites that didn't pay. When I finally find sites that do pay, I stick with them! :$:

I also had bad luck with some sites that didn't pay. My lot always pays. This makes want to use it. And it's true, we need a lot of interaction to earn dollars. But If we write something interesting, we will earn faster.
