Except no, money is a "Promissory Note"---another thing you value as much as 'what you sell-or-buy for it' (time working, story ideas written or filmed, a car, a digital device, a cheeseburger).

I don't know what rock you have been hiding under but Satoshi are real money, especially if you have enough of them to add up to being significant.

I currently reside in Ghana. A dollar in Ghana can buy a basic meal such as rice and stew, which may consist of rice, vegetables, and a protein such as chicken or fish.

I spend more than two dollars a day to be frankly on food. Sometimes I just see myself as prodigal child but economy causes this.

A dollar would mean not much in our country in this current economy and inflation. But sure you can buy few items like two packs of bread, some veggies in small amounts, few pens or stationery items etc.
As far as money is considered, I consider it valuable and it helps to add many values to your life. If you get too greedy, money starts controlling you and that can be bad

[quote="oldbuddy"}I don't know what rock you have been hiding under but Satoshi are real money, especially if you have enough of them to add up to being significant.[/quote]Really? Well, The Internet says so; and ...
Image
If it's on the Internet, IT MUST BE TRUE! ... THOU SHALT BLINDLY BELIEVE!!

And--on some game-shows--they really do trade their points for "the currency of the realm," like I'm sure they do with 'the Satoshi you trade for Bitcoin' or 'the ForumCoin I trade for ... whatever (mostly "link-sharing").'

But has America's Congress decided to invest in it?

Your country is good anyways but if you want to get a plate of food you will need at least $2 at a sit, and you can satisfy because we consume different amount of food.

A Dollar can give you one good loaf of bread. That one is barely enough for a family to eat satisfactorily.

I can't buy anything for a Dollar at Dollar Tree anymore, they raised their prices to $1.25!

I could get a 5 lb bag of potatoes at the 99 Cents Only store. If I'm very lucky, they'll have 10 lb bags that day, but usually they have 5 lb.

Talking about potatoes, a dollar can buy an amount of potatoes that can last a single person for 5 days as an average water.

I used a dollar to go my PPA yesterday and a dollar to go back home makes two dollars for only transport.. I am still reasoning that I need five dollars to survive a day.

In my country, water's FREE (oh, not 'bottled water' which price I'm not up-to-date on).

Do you believe tap-water is still 'unsafe' after it goes through the sewage-treatment-plant? (Do you not HAVE those STPs in your area?)

I can use a dollar for buying a stock on my local e-wallet in my country. It is an equivalent for me to have the stock and can earn money for being in this e-wallet.
