Yes the site is paying... I have joined more than two years ago and it is always paying according to the said schedule...

I believe most users prefer to receive the money as soon as they reach the minimum but I know at least two users who mentioned that they removed their PayPal to let the money build. We can do that in Mylot as it is a reliable site but I wouldn't risk with some other sites.

That is a good move to make. I might try that too. I just remove my paypal and accummulate the funds until it is a good amount that I want.

I tried that. I removed my paypal when I reached the minimum payout, finally, and worked another month.

I don't know about Prolific Academic. But you're so right about Forum Coin and MyLot. You can trust the Admin.

Prolific is also a very reliable site. After a few years working online we know which sites are here to stay and that others will pay us a couple of times and then scam us. I am happy for having these 3 sites.

Is prolific a forum site also... I plan to join site that is already proven rather than to gamble to the new site...

Joining numerous site is not the best in my opinion because one may not be active in all of them due to time factor.

I do realize it is a big ol' world and we all have different types of problems but it still makes my head hurt to read some stuff there.

No offense intended to anyone, I'm just an extremely cynical (expletive deleted) these days.

No, Prolific is a sort of survey site but you receive studies to answer.
a_jerobon wrote:I have never heard of that prolific academic. How does that site work?

You receive studies from different universities to answer but I think the site isn't available worldwide only in a few selected countries.

Sounds a lot like that Testable Minds site I joined a few years ago...it was hooked up with 4-5 universities

You're right, it is exactly like Testable minds but I find it hard to find studies in Testable minds.

That was why I dropped it (TM) after my first cashout, the slots in studies was usually between 20-50 and they filled up too quick most times for me to get in them

I have also received only one payment from them and it was when they started the site, after that I think they attracted too many users and it is extremely difficult to grab a study.

I'm glad to hear you're gathering pace over at MyLot! I've also been spending more and more time there and you really do see the difference. I like MyLot because like FC, it's so laid back and easygoing, we can just keep our heads down and do our thing without any drama!

I just signed up for Uptrennd. It's more like Forum Coin than like Mylot. It's a site that discusses stuff about cryptocurrency.

Yes, it is noticeable the difference in our balance when we spend more time there (this week it hasn't been my case) and that is why I think we need to focus on the reliable sites that we have. There was a time that I had many sites and I ended up earning less.

Years ago myLot used to be quite a bit more 'rough and tumble'. There was no kind of 'block' system and there was no way to delete anything after you wrote it. Personally I had a heck of a lot more fun back then. :D

I am glad the site has improved with time, I have written some mistakes there and the Edit button is quite useful but yes, I believe it was funny, I surely had written some funny or embarrassing things for sure
