Re: FaucetHub

It is possible to sort the faucets. Click the headings and sort by low to high, etc. Sometimes faucets run low on currencies and must be refilled. With faucets it takes patience and consistency. Don't take it too seriously because they are only providing a small exposure to crypto. Hopefully you will build a decent amount of currency over time and the currency will grow in value.

Investing satoshi from another wallet into forumcoin will make it easy to withdraw; but then fees issue will take it.

If they do decide to add it then I hope they will allocate the coins to each member's account. Some sites did it with bitcoin cash.

On Bigbtc you can only withdraw to faucethub after you reach 1000 satoshi, it is the only one I work where there is a minimum. were you scammed by faucets that work with faucethub?

I just joined this site. Still poking around, but jesus, some of these faucets are just filled with pop-up ads. I'm so worried that my computer will get a virus before I can even claim anything.

It worries me too, that is the reason why I don't work in Faucethub on my personal computer, those pop-up ads may bring some malware and damage my devices seriously.

I only have one computer so I don't have a choice. I'm being pretty careful though... I'm only claiming from sites that supposedly have no pop-ups. I don't mind ads that load on the page that much, but pop-ups are dangerous because sometimes I click too fast and click on the pop-up (which redirects me to a virus).

yes, we have to be careful with all faucet sites. Not only they have a lot of pop-up ads, but some of them started to use your computer to mine cryptocurrencies while you browse their site - it's dangerous and can crush your computer.

What?! They can do that? How do we find out if we're being used? Any signs?

One sign is if your computer is running slower, running warmer or working harder. You can also check the processes operating on your computer. Check your running processes based on your operating system. You can also clear cookies/cache, close your browsing session, run a scan and restart your computer. Also ensure you have a good virus/malware/firewall running--run scans frequently. Some bitcoin forums might be helpful.

it is true, some site have hidden mining software
that can heat up your device. For me
the best sute to collect to is freebitco.in. There is no pop up and you can easily claim by just solving 1 catcha.

I have entered some faucets, which were performing hidden mining, and I have left immediately the site.I think the faucet was mining Monero, because I have read that usually who does hidden mining ,is about Monero.

Thanks for the tips. I hope the sites I'm visiting aren't making my computer mine for them... I've been pretty selective so far and I'll keep an eye out for overheating and stuff too. I'm just not familiar enough with cryptos yet to know how to detect mining. I'm a super noob atm, haha.

Yes a little bit everyday adds up. Consistency and patience will pay off over time. Thus time management is one ingredient to success.

Right now I just claim normally, this is lack of time management; with proper management, I will earn more
