In which faucets do you work in faucethub? The only one that works for me is bigbtc but I don't know if I am doing something wrong because everybody claims from several faucets :roll:

So, can you tell how much bitcoin have you earned yet?

As a faucet owner I can assure you it does not work how you think. When the rate drops, our advertising revenue does not increase immediately. Current advertising campaigns that are running that could run for days weeks or months are already running at a certain CPC or CPM so we will not see an increase there. Some networks charge a bitcoin amount for ads so unless the ad networks increase this, advertisers continue advertising at the same BTC rates as before. Also when the price rises or drops suddenly, the blockchain fills up meaning fees rise high. Advertisers then don’t always want to pay those fees when the fee is very high so won’t advertise. Ad networks that charge a BTC equivalent of a dollar amount for advertising will find that some advertisers will hold on to their BTC until their BTC value increases again which it does do after these common price dips. For us to see an increase in revenue, we need a prolonged period of low value for Bitcoin where there is no signs of a rebound and for ad networks to increase their advertising costs in line with this drop. Ad networks don’t as they know this drop is on for a short time and will probably rebound like many times before and they would just need to drop their rates again in a week.

Also we have a stock pile of currencies and I can’t speak for all faucet owners but I tend have my fees set at the price I paid for that coin (roughly) rather than the current value.

I can assure you, ad network income has been shockingly low in the past few days. On my main ad network I earned a third of the amount I earned last week. Is the btc price 3 times what it was this time last week? It isnt so in terms of BTC I am down by two thirds and in terms of dollars, even more.

Faucets are not as profitable as you users seem to think and seem to expect miricles. Running a faucet is s**t at the best of times... even more so when paying out of our pocket to pay users yet get criticised for not paying enough and robbing users and making profit like most users that email say. These price fluctuations, full mempools, rumours of countries banning things and high fees create havoc in our planning and our finances. We can’t predict our expenditure and we sure as hell can not reliably get close to predicting income. Then we have to wait in some cases 7 days to actually be able to withdraw our earnings, pay withdrawal fees, pay the deposit fee to FH and then pay the exchange fees to get the crypto we need for our faucets. Suddenly those ad earnings are even less than before. That is if we do get paid. Us faucet owners get scammed by ad networks and other sources of income aswell. We also get robbed blind at times by bots aswell that generate is no revenue but costs us a lot.

What I am trying to say is that faucet owners don’t have an easy life, can not drop rates inline with BTC price decreases and sometimes we even use any increase in income to make up for money we lost in the past where we had to pay out of our own pocket. We are not the enemies like many users seem to think we are and accuse us of being.

While it may seem like you are earning nothing at the moment claiming, it will become more when the price increases back to where it was before if the same way your previous earning become lower in value when the price dropped. It works both ways.

@skysnap
Aside from that, there's a lot of empty faucets. Actually, the dropping of claim rates is because of the overall cryptocurrency in the downtrend. I actually focus in other altcoins because bitcoin is not good anymore and of course, it's a weekly payment now.

it is now one withdrawal per week, and mostly one to days to confirm the payment. But when there is huge rises and drops price of bitcoin, it is better not submit withdrawal first

The same with me, it is quite difficult to find faucets that work for me there, I only work in one which makes my earnings being low and honestly at the moment I don't know if it worth working in Faucethub.

I think you should make some more faucets to claim bitcoins so that you can easily reach the pay out minimum.
