I have built up a point score but I notice that even though I have been doing tasks and seemingly being credited for them, I have been stuck on 796 points and I don't know the reason why. I will now have to do make queries to try to find out what the problem may be.

Yes you need to email them and tell exactly the experience. I am sure they will get back to you because I remember I have the same experience before and they ask for a screenshot of your balance.
