So since I've encountered something quite relevant, I wanted to clarify something out here. That whole change in the payout requirements may look like it has been applied to only a few countries, since some of you are still seeing the old numbers. But, as far as I think, it has been applied for the majority of countries, if not all of them. Now here's what happened:
A few days ago, I reached the minimum payout option for a steam wallet card, which is 5500 points for a 5$ card. So, I decided to redeem it as a reward, and everything worked quite smoothly. I took a couple screenshots just in case something happens: http://i.imgur.com/13yxrhl.png ; http://i.imgur.com/BHvmnTO.png ; As you can see, after confirming the redemption, I had 52 left in my balance, and at the same day, I earned an additional 44 points, for a total of 96 points left, then I closed the site.
The next day's morning, I opened GP as usual, and guess what.. out of the blue, I found -404 points shown in my balance.. which is quite strange tbh, I've never encountered something similar during any of my previous reward requests.
Consequently, I started querying about it.. and by coincidence, when I opened the forums, I saw that you guys started talking about the sudden bump in the payouts minimum requirements, but when I checked the numbers in the website, I found that it's still showing the same old damn thing for me.. Here's a screenshot:



Now when we link both matters together, the negative balance in my account and the increase of payout points, I predict that when I requested my reward, the old system was still active and thus it allowed me to proceed my redemption, but right after I requested it, they started changing the numbers and applying the new system not only for normal GP users who are still on the way for a reward, but also for people who already requested one, and that's why they took an additional 500 points from my account (-404 + the 96 I had after redemption), even though it's still showing 5500 points (until now) for a 5$ steam wallet card, it became 6000 points. I think they have a problem in synchronizing the changes to be shown for all people, that's why I'm still seeing the old numbers...

Just wanted to explain my predictions, which are most likely true. I will keep track on the rewards page for a while, and keep you guys updated..

Normally sites used to do this that they give particular date that new rule will apply. So that user can at least cashout and all. Here we all have earned with old system and they changed our earning as per new rule..

Like this no one's earning is safe. I won't mind change of rule, but at least they should give earning as per old rules which was earned with old rules.

I don't think they are paying more. I am doing CF tasks. Even if I don't count official site of CF they are paying half amount per task in compare to other sites which also offers same CF tasks. What you can say about this?

I misunderstood your previous comment.

But if GP is paying less than other sites, that means they're either getting a bigger cut for themselves or they are not getting much from CF. Even if they are getting a bigger cut though, it's probably not enough to cover the amount they pay for all the users who redeem from codes.

Well, CF tasks are paying same to all. Many sites have those tasks but I have seen GP and Swagbucks pays lowest. May be they are paying in terms of Points so user haven't noticed it. But all other site paying quite more. I don't think GP is getting less from CF. May be they want more margin.

Same goes for surveys. If you will compare survey points for this site and other site which is offering same surveys, you sill notice that this site is paying less.

You are true about promo code. But users which are also using other methods, I don't think it is worthy for them anymore specially with this increasing points for payout.

I wouldn't be so sure on that. For some surveys, they (survey companies) are paying more for U.S. opinions.

Yes, it's not fair. But it is necessary for GP to survive. There's nothing else they can do.

This situation makes it hard for people who are using the codes from here and those who are working hard for the codes their own, but I do believe the objective of the site is to earn the funds before payment requests will be done. This makes me sad, really.

But it is kind of that only. They have changed the points for few countries. So suppose if I have pending amount (during they changed the points) after receiving full payment they would have minus my points because of that.

It is country specific only. I mean it only effects for which they have changed it. All others are having same thing like before.

May be that's how they choose to survive. But not all other site do like that. They do change rule by giving information before they apply. And previous earning don't get any effect because of that.

@Naruto- do you know I was unable to login my account when I came to my new location so I had to create another account. Later when I did not get points for my surveys, I contacted support and he gave me 200 points as compensation but I had to lose my balance on my previous account. The support said we have this setting to save the site from fake accounts. Strange but true.

I will not suggest you to discontinue this site though... as far I am concerned none of my Indian survey sites are letting me work on them except Toluna and all other sites have asked me to change demography except Forumcoin and TFW.

Well, I started this site again for Crowd flower tasking. But now they have increase the points for payout, but not for CF tasks. I can earn quite more for CF tasks on other. And only working with promo codes, don't you think it will slow.

By the way, few days back we got gaming notification. That page is still not working for me. Is it opening for anyone?
