Are you sure? There's no change for me. I don't have the $3 Paypal option (just Amazon for $3), but it's 5000 points for $5.

Yes dam sure. Few days back there was 3000 points for 3$ and 5000 points for 5$.

And now I can see 4000 points for 3$ and 6650 points for 5$.. And I was about to cashout at 5000 points.

Yes, I am seeing 4000 points for 3 and 6650 for 5 dollars. Oh no. They are doing this to save the site. We need to adjust to the feeling of redeeming at Christmas now. :(

I am also still seeing $5 for 5000 points which equals $1 for 1000 points. I wonder why there's a difference since we all get paid in USD.

I wonder why there is different for different users. Is it kind of country wise change or what? But all are getting paid in USD then such change is not done.

See this. I could have ask for payout when it was less. Now I have to stop this site again as now I am getting quite less earning for CF tasks in compare to other site with this less points.

It could be based on countries and the amount of offers we get (and do). Less offers done = less money for Grabpoints, which means even if you hit cashout, it's likely that all your points came from codes.

I see that @suny's Google Play giftcards are priced differently than mine too.

So this is kind of unfair if it is country wise. They are paying all in $$. Then why there is such different.

My guess would probably be they have to pay more fees for some countries.

OR

Like I said earlier, some countries don't get as many offers so GP can't afford to pay them if they are relying on codes.

Well, I am totally depended on CF tasks. Now as they increase the points for payout. But still having same points for CF tasks. So it is kind of big lose for me. I have to move towards different site for my cf tasks as I can earn better than this because of this change.

Plus they should have inform about it , as I was waiting for redeem at 5$ for 5000 points. Now I am only around 200 points away and they increase the limit. Its not fair. I could have even cashout 3000 points for 3$.

Promo codes for today:

TRIVIA15412
130417MORN
13417BONUS

There's a special offer that was announced today. It's basically like a contest, you have to complete an offer worth 50 points and tomorrow they will post a special code for the winners. Here's a link if anyone's interested: https://www.facebook.com/GrabPoints/pos ... 1402011163

Yes, I do need to agree that it is unfair. 200 points is very near to achieve and you could have cashout $5 in no time bu then they increase it to 6650 points something. I think they need to do it to make the site stay for long.

That's really bad for GrabPoints to increase the points for converting into PayPal payment, 3,000 points for $3 is hard to achieve, what else for 4,000 points now...sigh!

Yup. I could have even cashout at 3000 points with more than 1500 points remain. But now whole things have been changed. I am not going to continue my CF tasks here anymore.

I contacted support too, I got this reply "Thanks for contacting GrabPoints Support! The decision to increase the points for a $3 gift card was a decision made by management due to the revenue earned by various countries.".

But I don't understand one thing. It may be true for those who are earning with only CODES. But what if some one are doing surveys and crowdflower tasking. Don't you think it is unfair to pay us less as those survey company and crowdflower paying them full.

Yes you have a point there. If they are getting same amount for surveys for every country then that is injustice for members like you.

I don't think the survey companies pay them in full. A survey worth $5 in the U.S. might only be worth $2-3 somewhere in other countries. Not to mention that while there are users like you who do tasks, there are probably more who don't because they don't want to invest the time or they don't have any available to them. So in order to make up for the loss there, GB must use your revenue to fill in the gap.

I'm not saying I support GB in their decision to increase the minimum, but there are too many factors that we don't know. I'm just glad they're not taking away or setting limits for codes.

Well, if I compare those surveys and CF tasks in other sites they do pay quite more. So I don't think that's the case. Whatever, I have to move to other site.
