There was a post from Admin telling people to make sure their account showed their eMail address if they wanted to get paid. My account is set! :$:

Like the post I linked to perhaps?

You evidently have formed some weird opinion of the site not based on facts. Of course it doesn't matter since it doesn't look like PayPal will let you receive money in Zambia.

Didn't look back up in this thread. I probably would not have noticed the post. When I signed in to MyLot, somebody had sent it to me as a suggestion. That's why I read it.

Thank you, @JolietJake and @cmoneyspinner. That's really helpful. I had absolutely no idea. I take it this is a new thing, then?

No, same at it has always been but a lot of newer users forget to put their PayPal email or they try to use a PayPal.Me link which won't work. Then some want to get paid a different way besides PayPal, and that just ain't gonna happen, so Admin finally did a discussion laying everything out.

Well, if it is the same the there is no need to change anything in my account, right? Or do we all need to rewrite our Paypal?

It's a discussion by Admin. I just explained what the discussion is about. You can either read it or not.

Upvotes (or whatever) don't really have anything to do with earnings there, but yes, it would be a waste of time since you can't get paid through PayPal.

Mylot??
This is the first time I heard about this site. I checked on Google and looks like it is a legit paid-to-post site. In the coming days, I will have to learn more about this site and how I can profit by posting.

It has been around since March of 2006. It is an active discussion site. If you don't have time to actively involve yourself in discussions every day, you probably won't earn well, and even an average earner has to put forth a little effort to cash out each month. #TruthInAdvertising :D

I don't get why people join and interact first before checking their eligibility and the payment processor a site uses  That along with the FAQs are the very first things I check out before joining a site.

I always check that too, I don't want surprises in the cashout moment.
Lately my time is so limited that I haven't interacted in Mylot, I try to visit the site every day but I can only write a couple of answers in others posts.

I really do not understand people that think they should be paid for the words of other people (plagiarists). They are also usually the ones that go around saying they got 'banned for no reason' when it is plainly stated in the Guidelines that plagiarism is not allowed.
