There is no conversion, they are just different denominations like dollars and pennies.

Actually, 'NOT understanding it' is more advantageous---it lets you make use of all the faucets and mining-programs etc. without worrying about 'what they're doing to the environment' (but rest-assured that we are only working with 'polluters that are ALREADY polluting').

What you say is true from your level, but once you reach the level of owning Active Shares the whole picture changes. If you never do anything but the Faucet it very well could take months (since you live in Portugal and I understand Surveys are not a good option), but the good part is you still can't ever lose, because you have not spent anything out-of-pocket.

I manage to earn some satoshis from the faucet every day and I am now near the 1,000. I want to invest but I still need to learn how to do it on the site.
You're right, it takes time but it is free money, so I lose nothing in trying.
