I agree 100%, it's never too early. If you haven't started already, start now, even if you begin by saving the tiniest amount on a regular basis. Have you ever heard anyone say they regretted saving?

It should be started as early as we can because our body won't allow us to work for whole life and after a time we won't be able to concentrate on any earning activity.

I feel like I need to 'register my disagreement' here.

Maybe the "saving for retirement" you should be focused on should be more like 'storing up treasures in Heaven' ... because (especially with most retirement-incomes being "fixed"---not rising (or falling ... hey, it could happen!) according to inflation (or DEflation ... hey, it could happen!), one's retirement-lifestyle could depend on 'the kindness of strangers'---kindnesses that one might reserve among the 'treasures in Heaven' that you stored up by fulfilling your duties (without respect to the rewards).

Now, time to step down off thiis soap-box ...

One should start saving for retirement from the beginning of life even though it is little so that there would be enough.

No , not at all. This is why it is good to save even from the very little that we have. it is the best thing to do.

The treasures I have for me are in infinite supply! (and no, they're not "waiting for until I die," but they flow to me now as long as I continue only holding onto them briefly before they flow to the next 'flow maintainer.'

The word Flow is built on a wordroot that also gives us words that mean fletcher; fledge; flee; fleet ("swift; group of ships under one command; to float, drift; run"); fleeting; flight ("act of flying; act of fleeing"); flit; float; flood; flotsam; flotilla; flow; flue; flugelhorn; fluster; flutter; fly ("move through the air with wings; winged insect"); fowl; plover; Pluto; plutocracy; pluvial; pneumo-; pneumonia; pneumonic; pulmonary.

and that gives us Flowed Flowing Flows FlowChart FlowSheet GoWithTheFlow (originally Snow-Skiing jargon) Inflow Outflow Interflow Workflow Overflow

Maintainer is built on wordroots that mean "to Stretch by Hand (or Hold in the Hand).) same as Maintainers Maintain Maintains Maintained Maintaining Maintainable Maintainability Maintenance

My advice to the younger generation is to be concerned with the retirement ONLY when they reach 40. It is not good to be focusing on something that you may not reach at all.

Just starting to think about retirement if we reach 40 is a bit of a dark thought, I think. I mean, no one would think that they are going to die young and everyone wants to live many years so thinking about retirement makes sense at any point of our lives.

And if everybody starts accepting Crypto & stops accepting cash (and the Cryptos stop accepting cash as well), you'll have spent decades-&-decades collecting CONFETTI!

I think everyone should start saving for their retirements because starting late will face you with problems.

I agree with you, the best time for saving is from the first day that you start earning, this will help you alot in long term.

I don't believe in saving for retirement. I believe in investing for retirement and that can be done right from the first day you start earning an income.

Yeah; "Saving for retirement" makes me think of that 'Parable of the Talents' (where the servants who invested 'the money they were assigned' got promoted, while the servant that locked the money away was ... I dunno, "sent to Hell with the weeping & gnashing-of-teeth" or something).

"Invest" is built on ancient words that mean "to Dress- or Clothe In" (on the notion that you're giving your Capital a New Form (changing Cash into Stocks etc.)). search-tags xInvest xInvested xInvesting xInvests xInvestor xInvestors xInvestiture xInvestitures xInvestment xInvestments xReinvest xReinvesting xReinvested xReinvests

It is very good preparation for retire when old, however saving money need resources to get money or earning, take a job and has skills to do so very important because not all people get the chance and can do it

Saving in the 30s is very much okay ,while some still wait till fewvyears to retirement before they start saving which isn't a nice idea at all.

I didn't spend long enough 'employed' to qualify in the usual way, so I don't know ... you might ask @OldGuy or @OldMan

Or Oldbuddy . . . I retired on Social Security 23 years ago and contrary to what a lot of people say, it's enough to live on pretty comfortably for a couple who both worked. The trick is to get as close as you can to debt free and start now to build a compound interest paying fund from free bitcoin and don't touch it.
