If their sperm managed to make 2 champions out of 40 siblings, that is enough to make them high in demand. There is a stallion who managed to produce 20 champions so his sperm are super expensive. Champion mares are the ones who gets injected with the sperm as well.

My wife is from a horse racing family. Her brother is a horse trainer now with both gender of horse in his stable. As you said in your other post there should be a picture of the male and female horses in the copulating position as proof that they are the sire and dam of the foal. Artificial insemination is only used for cattle.

Artificial insemination is highly practice in race horse farms already. Some people cant afford to rent a champion male from a foreign country, so they just purchase their frozen sperm,.
