Sort of. I think money is more of sentiment manipulator if I continue based on my earning definition of money.

To understand Money in simple terms let me Explain it like this:
1.Government of any Country produces money and keeps with it, which is equivalent of the Gold it has in it's mint.
2. This money can be availed by any one by either rendering services, selling something or by getting it in the form of loan from the Government. Thus money enters the market and it is in circulation.
3. Once the money is in circulation instead of using the barter system the money is used as a standard media and transactions are done in the society.
4. Thus money is the authorized medium guaranteed by Government of a particular country which helps in making various transactions with a fixed face value attached to it in terms of the value of Gold!

Wrong; as I think the video explained, we buy things through 'the barter system.' Without money, we'd go back to bartering 'things we have' for 'things we want.'
