Re: I am tired of Niume and you?

I got nearly 100 views today so far, is the site back to normal for anyone else or did I just get lucky?

I've had reasonably good views on my latest post after it received good shares on social media. I'm still not sure whether other posts which don't get that attention will do well though. Of course 100 views per day isn't going to bring in a worthwhile amount of money anyway, so I'm really not sure whether to go on posting there.

At least it's an improvement since I've been getting 10-20 views per day.. hopefully things pick up.

I just got online and I never see any differences with my views so far. Actually, it is not picking up anymore so I decided to write a new blog and let's see if it moves good. When it moves up to or more than 50 views, I guess the site is really solving the issue...

Have you actually tried sharing your posts? I shared a bunch on Twitter and FB today, maybe that's why.

It's good to hear at least some people are getting more views and external views are counted.

I am not sure as it is getting better as it still looks the same to me, but I only wrote one post yesterday. I'll try to share more later and see how it goes.

I will have to write another post today and see. I have a couple of ideas but I had been waiting to see if things were going to pick up. I have shared some today on Twitter and I have more views today than the last few days.

@FuZyOn I am glad that you have so many views today. Hopefully things are looking up now on niume.

Niume seemed to be such a professional site. It's surprising that the admins were not far sighted enough and the things are getting stalled so soon but this seems to be happening with most of the writing sites that have been around.

The trouble is that I had one 'good' day but since then I haven't posted anything new and it's been really quiet. I don't feel very motivated when my most successful post has just over 200 views and for that I need an original photo and five lines of text.

I read about the new guidelines, for photography, you might not need five lines of text but just a small description will do. Perhaps it makes you easier to make a post at niume with this new guideline. :)

I'm aware of that but it doesn't feel right to me to post photos without writing something about them so I'm not likely to take advantage of that rule. Besides taking the photos and editing them is a lot more work than writing five lines.

I thought the new rule updated is for those who would like to share the beauty of the photograph, but leave much imagination for the readers. :D

Yes, I guess editing the photos might take lots of work too, I am definitely not interested in that. :P

I realize many people like to post in Photograph sphere, and get lots of views too.

If I got lots of views it would be worth it, but earning 20 cents per photo isn't worth the effort. I haven't given up on the idea of sharing my photos at Niume, but I'd really like to find a way to earn more for them.

I have come across some sites that we can earn by sharing photos, but since I am not into photography, I just didn't take note of them. If I have found them, I'll let you know. Have you tried to sell them online?

Thanks. I've tried selling photos at a few microstock sites but I find that kind of photography quite boring and their technical demands are really hard to meet. I prefer to do the more creative stuff I enjoy.

I have a friend who sells her art work at https://society6.com/. I am not sure how it works, but it looks interesting. Perhaps you can check it out and also similar sites if you are interested. :)

I've heard of the site but have never tried it because I've already got some products for sale at zazzle.com, a site which is quite similar. I should probably put more effort into that one but I'm still trying to figure out how to fill out the forms they need before they'll pay me so I'm not feeling that motivated at the moment.

I have so far posted five times on Niume, gained some views, but now that I am not posting anything there, it seems as if the earnings have dropped in my account, and only 2 posts are counted, yet all the five are present at the dashboard. I wonder what it means. i remember someone posting here about it as negative earnings.

Are some of your posts more than a month old? By default the stats on your dashboard are only for the last month though the amount in your wallet should be correct.
