@bestwriter _ Do you initiate most of the discussions or do you just chime in with discussions already going on? WHen I was there I couldn't decide whether to start a thread or just jump in where it looks like there's activity.

I create 4 posts every day and also respond to many others. One has to be active. For example last two days I could not as I was busy offline. But will have to make up by being more active. You can do it.

Thanks. I will reconsider going back to MyLot. But for now, I have some writing jobs that work well for me. Publishing content at those sites is a plus because search engines can find my writing work, and I am trying to establish myself as a freelance writer and trying to drive traffic to my blogs by linking from those sites.

That work keeps me busy and I will have to carve out some time in my schedule to visit MyLot like maybe 1 to 3 hours a week. Before I had this other writing work I spent a lot of time at MyLot but it wasn't worth the time I put in, to be honest.

MyLot is not like HUBPages where I am not active but my writing still earns income. My content on MyLot does not earn passive income if I'm not active. You know what I mean?

I think this mylot narrative should be dead and buried by now. Mylot doesn't look as if it is worth it everyday you look at it.

Unlike me you are a prolific writer and you have slots where you can do far better than your spending time at myLot

I got a few good discussions recently.
However I sometimes feel a bit annoyed with a few folks who always seem to write WhatsApp or Insta style responses like :

"How are you?"

"That's Nice!"

"That is ok."

And very rarely even write two full sentences.

They are not helping the site at all.

That's just it. They never really put much effort into growing their membership. At least not as far as I could tell. A lot of people like you have ideas. But nothing has changed for years. Even with a new owner, nothing changed.

Some sites don't like the use of crypto on their sites I don't know why. but I believe is the best way to get more posters on a site it can accommodate more people
