it is going to be a great profit if you can hold bitcoin for a very long time but it is going to be difficult if you do not have the financial capacity.

At any point, you step into cryptocurrency trading or investments, either you make a profit or a loss immediately because the market is dynamic.

Before you start, you should be able to determine your investment goals and risk tolerance level and see if it rhymes with the nature of cryptocurrency.

I embarked on this journey a few years ago and it just keeps looking better every day, so with only about 5 or 10 years left to live I don't think that will be much of a problem. My Grandkids will probably be the ones seeing the benefit of my quest anyway.

If you are stepping into a crypto, you need to go for lectures that talk more back on it

Hope you can stay awake. I will just use the system I came up with a couple of years ago that is still paying me.

You have to make peace with the fact that you can just be sitting and you watch your assets drop in value and you won't panic.

If you do nothing but buy Satoshi (Bitcoin) and wait for the price to go up to sell at a profit, this scenario is exactly what you will have to deal with.

However, if you follow my plan and deposit those Satoshi where they will earn Daily Compound Interest, the whole picture changes. The price will go up and down just like you explained, but each and every day you will be adding to the number of Satoshi you own no matter what the price does. Then you can pick the price you sell at to maximize your profit. Look at the price charts for 2023 so far and you will see what I mean. At the beginning of the year it was below $17,000, but I kept earning more Satoshi every day. I just kept hanging on and last month I sold $300 worth when it was just under $30,000 and all those Satoshi I earned when it was at $17,000 were sold at the higher price.

@oldbuddy, you are right, investing in crypto assets for interest is less risky compared to futures or spot trading. Binance and other top exchange such programs with different APR.

I do long term crypto projects. I hold my Bitcoin for one year before I think of cashing out. It is a passive income thing to me.

One quick question.

If you bought one million Satoshi Jan 1, 2023 and HODL it one year and sold it today for $30,000 USD at the current BTC price, how would that compare to depositing one million Satoshi in an account paying Daily Compound Interest and redepositing on each maturity date until today and sell that increased number of Satoshi at the same current price?

That's necessary because they are basic principles to understand first as they will store your funds. Then the next should be to learn trading tricks, analysis, and risk management.

Another thing that you deeply have to consider is the regulations regarding cryptocurrency in your country. Is it favourable or not so you know how to go in.

You would have to know that it is not all coins that you would buy and profit later on. You would have to look for indicators that a coin would improve and even the indicators are not cocksure.

Nowadays it becomes much more risky, as after observing a particular coin, you can't predict it's movement as whether it go up or down. Furthermore from many days all crypto are at same number how you'll trade.
