Yes, the shipping fee have become insanely high. I have to shop more so that I could get free shipping. It ruins the whole online shopping experience.

Definitely inflation is everywhere but I'm still wondering what could have cause this sudden inflation.

The cause of the inflation is the War in Ukraine. Russia is an Oil producing country while Ukraine is a flour producing country. Two important resource becoming scarce because of the War.

If bread is your country's mains staple you could be be affected by the flour shortage too.

I feel really bad with the inflation since our salary is not increasing but the prime commodities is increasing its prices and it is really sad that the government cannot do anything about it since other raw materials are being imported to other places or countries.

Well your new president is too busy paying trolls to protect defend him online against critics and he is too busy partying. You had the chance to vote for a President with perfect commission in Audit record and has the best performance as a public servant but people rather believe paid trolls.

Yes, inflation is biting everywhere you go in the world. Here, I feel it more when we buy fuel and our weekly groceries. We are paying about double what we were paying pre-COVID  I'm just glad that our landlord hasn't decided now would be a good time to hike the rent. You know how they can get! We're all feeling the pinch, so the last thing we need to worry about is the rent going up.

Average Apartment Monthly rent has now topped $2000 in the US. Although there are still many apartments with lower monthly rates, the extreme rates in high rent districts in big cities drive up the averages.

The overall average rent in my own apartment complex is now $950 a month with this year's increases. There are still apartments available in very small communities that go for less than $500 a month, but then you have to calculate the cost of gas just to go anywhere.

According to the US census bureau:

3.8 million renters will likely be evicted in the next two months — why the rental crisis keeps getting worse

Inflation at its worst? Just how much worse will it get?

It is the same here, and it seems it is getting worse each day, this week the fuel price had a huge increase again and in the news they are saying that essential groceries like milk, bread, vegetables, meat, fish ... will have another increase too. It seems that electricity bill will increase too, I think sooner we won't have enough money for the month :(

Thanks for this OldGuy. Interestingly, I've been watching a lot of documentaries about America's homeless, and I found it so heartbreaking! In fact, my husband found it so depressing he suggested we give the series a long break - I'm guessing he won't be looking to return to it. And the scary thing is that even employed people are struggling to keep their heads above water. A lot of people around the world are feeling the pinch.
