How can you have interaction when members are dying off and they are not getting new members who have longer lifespan. the site is not making an effort to attract new blood.

Actually its not the money since there are platforms that dont pay and platforms that pays lower but has more active members than Mylot. The problem is they let the older members alienate the young newbies. For example This Teacher lady who will alienate anyone who wants to talk about popculture and gaming. She is too condescending but she is not breaking any rules. A lot of young members quits the moment they encounter her.

Also there are these members who kill off discussions by making unreplyable comments

I believe if this site wants to survive all these member deaths. They needed to form a special group that will concentrate on Gen Z friendly topics. This place doesn't know who Madison Beers is or who is Timothee Chalamet. This place doesn't know what is FNAF as the place looks down on gaming. All the members want to talk about is what they ate for lunch, their errands,politics or some bible reading...

At least There are Forumcoin members who knows what Spiderman No way home is. They need to build a team who will make a focus group out of Zoomers and even Millennials.

Well, the main users of Mylot probably aren't interested in Spiderman new movie, they just discuss things that interests them, you can not forget the average age of mylot users.
I think the site needs more young people to bring new topics to discuss, so maybe you can reconsider your decision.

myLot has posts that mostly involve a user's life. And the life of a user could be interesting. And if one is active there one can earn. If you wrote about your farm experience surely your posts could reach the top rated.

I notice there is hardly any gap between posts written there unlike Forum Coin where it is sometimes a 2 hour gap between posts. Have you noticed it? Not a good trend.

They died of old age mostly. Five of the Mylot members I know for years are all dead.

There are sites that pays lower than Mylot and are still active. The reason Mylot's activity has been dropping is most of the active members are senior citizens and Middle aged parents. Those members are dying off and they are not trying to find ways to attract younger people. Look At Facebook acting new features so they can attract young members because zoomers see Facebook as a place for old people. Now Facebook have young members again.

And myLot does not have an automatic algorithm that gives random 30 day bans due to groups of words.

I am not sure if that is really happening. My son and all his friends no one has a Facebook account, they all prefer Instagram and Tik Tok, lately are the older ones that are creating new accounts there.
You are right when you say that Mylot needs to attract new users and most of all keep them active which is even more importante I guess.

Well, I am gonna give it one last shot. Not starting any discussions, not welcoming any newbies, not following the Most Recent Discussions list, following 100 people (right now) and only responding on some of their discussions and no where else. Hopefully not being stuck looking at the same old boring questions time and again (which most times are not really a discussion in my opinion) will help me tolerate things enough to be there.
