You need to pay $9.99 to get premium badge and earnings depend on your efforts because just getting the premium membership may not help.

You still need to pay through paypal even if you reach the amount needed for an upgrade. I tried to do that in the past and they would say I should first verify my paypal with them.

Try creating a new account with another email address. I once emailed them a question about upgrading my account but till now I haven't got any answer back.

Thank god that you are experiencing the same issue, here is what happened for me. I was working on the website for more than a month and I reached more than 11$ as a free member and suddenly I couldn't login, I click on the button, it loads but it stays on the same page. It is been more than a month and I still cannot log in now. I contacted them many times and they always reply with a vague statement: Try a different browser, if you have a twitch account then you should log in easily...
I do not know that they ban members, they literally wasted my time for more than a month and this is very shady.

That happens to me too. Log me out sometimes after watch a stream.
Plus, when i open the site sometimes i have to login twice because 1st time dont work ( go to login page again ).

Looks to me the site is not what used to be anymore, still good but much less good
