I am feeling that some member are loosing interest in this site

I'm sure many are. I am in talks with the owner trying to get a better 'block' feature there, I think many people leave because they cannot totally block some users and continue seeing things posted that bother them.

Money matters, most people are there to earn money, and when they get better opportunity, they give more time to that another platform.

Because they are dying off. Mylot members are mostly middle aged to elderly. There are some young people but they are minority. They need to find a way to attract younger people.I think a solution will be getting more lenient with language because Gen Z likes profanity. People should be allowed to use it as long as they wont use it to attack and insult people. Categories should make a return too so people who can find their communities, just like Reddit.

I am a senior and am still alive - alive there for 12 years. What I think is more and more luctrative Sites are coming up and about language restrictions I do not think it is an issue that will make youngsters stay away.

I don't know that you can compare Mylot with Reddit. I belong to both sites and they are worlds apart. Youngsters are more into social media like facebook and instagram (my opinion based on raising a 15 year old). They seem to prefer interaction with people they know. Even if the internet had been around when I was young I don't think I would have been interested in forum posting and I love the English language. I wanted to be out and about with my friends. I would have thought that was the main reason there are fewer youngsters interested in forum posting or other online activity. Of course that is very general.

I guess you know more about it than I do but I think it's going to be a long time before MyLot bites the dust unless it stops paying. There are still plenty of people posting there. I have just returned after a long break and I was surprised to see how much I have made in a few days. I will definitely be well over the payment threshold when the 15th November comes.

I noticed that I receive more answers and interactions at night, it is when it is morning in Asia and lunch time in the US.

Posting during the times there are barely people will kill your discussion before it even have a chance because people will not notice it.

I have always disagreed with this statement and I still do. The time I post a discussion has never had any effect on how my discussions get received. However, topic matter, and how the discussion is written, has always had an effect on how my discussions are received.

I am glad you decided to go back to Mylot. A good thing about the site is that, no matter the time you are off, the money you earned is always in your account.

If you got extra free time, you can simply have fun interacting with members at Mylot. Because, it's good for interaction like a social media site since you have freedom to talk about anything.

Actually there are limits to what may be discussed there. It is plainly explained in the Guidelines.
