Mcdonalds add TVP on their burgers now, which is a Vegan meat substitute, so they can extend the meat. Its not pure beef anymore. It is their way to survive inflation, add soy extenders.

if this is true i am boycotting Mcdoanlds until they go 100 percent beef again. I am not paying for soy! lol i am not a soy boy

When I was a kid, single small pieces of candy like tootsie rolls and caramel squares were a penny. Larger candies were 5 cents and a pack of now and later candies was 25 cents. You could get a candy bar for 50 cents. Now penny candy is no more. The penny candy is now nickel candy and the nickel candy is now dime candy. Those quarter candy are now 50 cents and the candy bars are now a dollar or more. The worst is gas though. When I was a kid I remember my stepdad going to the gas station and putting half a tank of gas in his car with the change from the car console. I can remember they could pay $2.50 for 1/8 tank and $5.00 for 1/4 tank. A full tank used to be $10. When I was old enough to get my permit and my own license gas was $5.00 for 1/8 tank and $10 for 1/4 tank while $20 filled it up. Now it takes $10 for just 1/4 tank if you are lucky and get a cheap gas station, $15 if you dont. And half a tank is easily $20 now. Filling your tank could easily cost $30 or better. And THAT is just in the midwest, its not even counting how much it is in california and the west coast states.

We should boycott things which are overpriced and will see companies moving to the previous price but there is no unity in people and if 1% users boycott then it won't make any impact but if 95% users boycott the product then the company will dilute

Boycott rarely hurt the company's revenue, but they can threaten a company's reputation. Unity is also important when you're protesting for something. People need to remember that strength lies in unity.

No Escape All Fastfood uses extenders to save money.

Burger King Uses Horse meat
Mcdonalds uses TVP
Carls Junior uses TVP
Dunkin donuts uses human hair.

Actually most fast food uses TVP now because it saves them money. Quality decrease for the sake of not raising prices.

This is the exact thing that is happening in my country now. The prices of things have just triple. it is very frustrating and annoying that what one bought yesterday for few cents would just be a dollar the next day.

I use a generic brand now for spices and cheese. A lot of commercial brands have gone expensive.

Here even generic brands are expensive nowadays, it is impossible to go to the supermarket, and the prices increased around 30% which is a lot.

Our main issue with increased price is the gasoline that is nearing 100 pesos per liter. The price of gas before the inflation this year was 60 pesos. Making it worse all the other items in the market have increased that included services mainly due to the need of transport.

I just came from store and what I can see - minced meat, 0.5kg, cost $ 3.35. Now it is $ 4.19.
The deodorant on sale cost $ 2.37, the regular price $ 3.35. Now on sale with a 30% discount it costs $ 3.77.

I will be exploring the magical world of rabbit meat. Look all they eat is grass and vegetable scraps, they multiply very fast, Their meat is high in protein and low in cholesterol. It wont be for business because my business is duck, It will be for survival because meat is expensive and fertilizer is expensive. Their poop will be my fertilizer for my veggies and their meat will improve my self sufficiency. I already have ducks, chickens, geese and Guinea fowls.I want to have cows and donkeys for milk too since dairy's price exploded.
