I wish I didn't refuse my cousin's offer to teach me how to play poker when I was a kid because I might have been a master by now.

I usually played zynga hold'em poker. I know about the game. And yes, it's usually both skill and luck. It's not only about getting a winning card but to also bluff and read the mind of other players.
I'm not sure you can win against computer because they know the cards, don't they? Well, I never tried one.

When you keep playing poker you will understand and get used to the game. It's experience that will tell you that poker is indeed skills. After you've learned the basics, you'll need to learn how to bluff or read other players minds.

Yes, it is not just luck there are skills there. If you have a double Ace cards and you think it's good to go all-in and yet you still lose to a three 2's cards. So you will have to think carefully about the situation.

Not really, Highly skilled poker players are able to compensate on what is available.

I have never played poker, however, tried gambling. I don't think gambling needs skill, it is pure luck. I cannot say anything about poker.

Poker does need skill. There is a science on how to win poker. There is now a course to study it.

There are two options the way I can see it when you get bad cards. First, you fold. Second, you bluff. Bluffing is a skill also but really a good player can win this and can read the other player's mind.

That's true poker is a game id skill, i know i cannot pass a game of poker online. But if i can master the skill it would definitely be a plus and a game worth trying.
