Paying or Scamming ?

Postby jackchun » 28 Jun 2017, 05:34

I think in online business world, there are many scammers and mostly of us have been scammed.

As we may all afraid of being scammed, hope anyone can tell us that which sites they have been scammed before, especially freelance marketplace, CPM ads network and CPA affiliate program and ads revenue sharing program (writing sites ) etc?

thx very much !

I don't even remember how many sites have tricked me so far! However, when I see at my earning from online world I have nothing to complain about. You never know when a good paying site stops paying.

I think many sites came and reached dust - bubblews, tinycent, niume, LB and list goes on. Except bubblews I got scammed in almost every site. Bubblews just stopped paying otherwise it was good.

I think it's just part and parcel of the online world. I've been earning on Paid-Videos.com but after 3 days it has disappeared! Good job I never got very far before it went offline so I haven't lost much.

That is part of the online working pitfalls, and you learn to spend your time wisely. These companies are out to make money and if they can get out of paying you because you violated a rule they have just made up then they will.

IDK if I've ever been scammed per se, but some sites start out legitimate then later down the line start playing up. I mean, take one of my faves, ChatAbout. So many people complained about it blocking them just as they went to cash out. I was never one of them, but then suddenly without warning, not a word from admin, they closed shop. That for me was NOT COOL at all because I almost had enough to cash out, and so did many others. I guess that's as close to being scammed by a site I ever got.

Search the names of the ones you are curious about on here. There is likely a thread (or three) if anyone has been scammed. You can also google the name plus the word scam and see what pops up, or try the name with the word reviews next to it and see what people are saying.

I still don't know what happened there. I don't think it was a planned shut down. They had just done some updating to the site layout and added new ads like the very day or maybe day before they closed shop. Weird. I thought we might eventually hear something, but nope.

Yes, I agree with you. We just have to move on. The only site I am quite disappointed is tinycents because it even took our work to another site, the rest I am still fine with them.

I am glad we have FC here for us to share and learn more opportunities! :)

Does the site really just disappear? I tried to watch videos for a few days, but I just couldn't. I can still access the site, but the video is unavailable. I think I have clicked for 3 days too. Sorry for introducing this site... :P

There is some reviews in Google, (outside forums ), are not true and fair, coz hardly have been criticized even they give wrong views.
But here forum, we can discuss well in much fair views with response.

I have tried a few new ptc sites before that even have no single payment to one user at all!

I think if god exists then they sent them through that site. I made money during that time otherwise I was damn broke. My day job money was going completely in rent and my savings were not enough for monthly food i was far away from family and friends. and their payouts literally improved my savings. i can't forget that part. god bless to the guy who owns it. he helped me get back to life even tiny bit helps.

There are still a few good sites. But you have to research carefully before investing in this. Time is money, and time wasted can not be gained back.

Yes that situation did not end so well. Soon before they closed they began to offer a 500 point bonus for new signups. That boggled my mind as to why they had to do that. They already had enough members. Also if cash flow was the reason for closing then why give money away (500 points) just to signup? That would only speed up their wind down process.

There are some Facebook groups that scam people by saying they take your money and then double it and send to PayPal
