Just for fun, I have a 25 FC gift for the first member who solves this week's riddles. If no one gets both correct by December 2, 2018, I'll have a drawing from those who give it a try.

LIMIT: One entry per member.

Merry Christmas!

1. You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don’t see a single person on the boat. Why?
2. Which colored candle burns longer, a red candle or a green candle?

1. The boat has already gone and it is too far from the wharf. The people couldn't be seen for it is already too far but the boat is still visible.
2. Both of them couldn't be burned longer for both of them would be consumed by fire.

I will try
1. The people came off the boat (for one reason or another) or they were all coupled up (not single) or I went under water so I could no longer see anyone on the boat.
2. Neither, as the quality of the wick and not the color will determine the burn rate.

PS please don't laugh as at least I tried.

The people are in the bed room quarters sleeping. They are on the boat. But you can not see them since they are in the rooms.

2. Both candles burn as fast as the other. after all a candle is a candle no matter the color.

However, no one actually came up with both answers correct, so that leaves a random drawing. I used a simple spreadsheet formula to pick the winner: =RANDBETWEEN(1;7), based on the total number of entries.
