This is a actually a Pilot for a TV show and the director hopes it will be popular enough so a TV Network will pick them up and turn them into a Tv show. The Director uploaded this Dark and gritty Scooby Doo reboot in hopes it gets popular and viral enough to get picked up by a Tv Network. He paid for all the rights needed to make this happen, All he needed is for this movie to get viral.

It made 500 thousand views within 24 hours.

Since its a serious reboot, Scooby Doo will be a real dog, not CGI and he wont be talking. The acting and Production is good but the actors are too old to play Teenagers. Velma and Shaggy casting is spot on. I see a lot of potential. I hope the Pilot gets picked up by HBO Max, Peacock or Amazon because Netflix and Fox will cancel this for a week.

I think this is little to serious for Scooby Doo. Scooby is name for funny dog who avoid all problems on funny way and lucky. I would not change it so much.

This movie is a Good Pilot to make a TV show happen but they need to recast Fred because he looks like a dad and not a teenage boy. Daphne also need to be recast, she looks too much like a Stepmom from a porn movie to look like a teenager.

Looks like an interesting concept. However, we have not seen much of Scooby Doo.
So it would be something very new for us.

As starter in this movie, there is nothing funny, this is dark movie, just like they used Archie, and ruined it.

There is an Indian adaptation of Archie and it is more closer and faithful to the American comics. Riverdale turned Archie into a sexy thriller. The Indian remake follows the concept of a 1950s teen comedy with a love triangle of a Nerdy boy torn between two girls with crush on him.



The Archie comics, is about about a nerdy boy who is torn between two girls who likes him. The rich girl Veronica and the Blond Cheerleader Betty.


In Riverdale, Archie became a Jock instead of a nerd.


A dark Winnie the Pooh is in the works.

I always liked the Scooby-Doo cartoon. But I don't like it with real people. I read Archie comic books and I watched the Archie cartoon series on television. But I never wanted to see a movie with real people. Some things for me just don't work as a movie unless it's an animated feature film.

Shaggy is not a wholesome character though. he is a 1960s hippie and 1960s hippies are marijuana smokers, He is designed after the stoner teens.

Because people nowadays and especially youngers like movies more than a tv show, life has changed about showing Scooby Doo or other personalities.

Scooby-Doo was originally named after Frank Sinatra's scat-lyrics in song "Strangers in the Night"--"Scooby-Dooby Doo ... Do-Dooby-Dooby ..." Some people think it was inspired by a different song (maybe by The Kinks), but the original writer confirms the Sinatra inspiration.

Looper revealed that he was more recently named after the "Scooby Snacks" that Shaggy was feeding him when he was lying to a police-officer that he owned the stray dog.
