Can You understand Gen Alpha language?

Postby Netherrealmer » 08 Feb 2025, 15:51

Gen Alphas are kids born from 2013 to 2024. They are kids who grew up with smart phones and Tablets on their face because their parents wants to escape parenting. They are raised by Elsagate videos and Skibidi Toilet. They develop their own language. I wanna know if you understand their language by watching these videos.

here is an Australian Senator who is trying to fight for the rights of Gen Alphas to use social media since Australia ban minors from joining Social Networks. She speaks in Gen Alpha speak.

Very good, very entertaining, unfortunately I can't understand most of it, even with the subtitles it's a little difficult to fully comprehend it :)

Whatever be the generation, I believe that what is good for most ought to be promoted.
What is bad should be eliminated as far as possible.
Some folks would "raise" such matters just for popularity.

Do you Gen Z refuses use big letters in texts on social media? They think it is part of their culture and style. Some say they show their status against Millenials and older generations. In email and business communication they keep it big and small letters.
Some say reason is just faster typing and other say they don't know when use big letters. :D

Since I am Gen Z, I think I understand the language of Gen Alpha. Their terms might be quite different but I think it is something that you can actually understand by inference.

Does it even make sense to write like that? It is against how English should be written. But with Gen Alpha, they are ready to overhaul everything we have come to know and do their own.

Is it possible for them to keep it encoded and away from the adults? When many of them are sell outs that a little tip can buy? Adults might not be able to speak their language but adults would surely understand.

Gen Alphas are about to become Teenagers, Gen Z will now experience being called old. Once a Gen Alpha gets 18, they will tell me Billie Eillish and Sabrina Carpenter are classic... like how we tell Grandma that Frank Sinatra is old.

This reminds me of an instance when a young mother proudly stated that her toddler child spent all time watching cartoons on a smartphone. I could not hold back the lowkey disgust I felt from such statement. After warning the mother that such parenting strategy was counterproductive, I left to avoid having a confrontation with her.

Parents should brace themselves for chaos. It will be problematic to handle Gen Alphas using the parenting tactics of the 1900s.

The Gen Alpha would have senior siblings who are Gen Z and are equally as mad as the younger Gen Alpha. No respite whatsoever.

If you ask them what the real meaning of Skibidi is, they would just mumble incoherent things. Confused generation.

The one that is funny for me is "Capping". And the Gen Alpha are the real masters of capping.
