Relationship issues? Here's a guide

Postby sweerie_banana » 10 Jun 2026, 07:32

Just finished reading a piece on MindBodyGreen about emotional connection in relationships: https://www.mindbodygreen.com/relationships

One point that stood out was how easy it is for couples to get caught up in daily routines and stop having meaningful conversations. Between work, responsibilities, and everything else life throws at us, it's easy to fall into a pattern where you're talking about schedules instead of really connecting.

It made me wonder how other couples keep that spark and emotional closeness alive over the years. Do you make time for regular date nights, try new activities together, or have any habits that help keep your relationship feeling fresh?

I'd love to hear what has worked for you.

I hadn't come across Mind Body Green before, it looks like a good site with lots of info on health related matters. Have you found many helpful articles there sweerie_banana?

I think there should be some distance from time to time. Like girlfriend must have her company to hangout or go at drink without boyfriend. Sometimes both should travel for few days without each other. If they do everything together, they don't have reason to talk and keep spark.

What I like about the site is that it covers a wide range of topics—nutrition, fitness, mental health, relationships, sleep, and personal growth—so it's easy to find something relevant no matter what aspect of wellness interests you @Fergal

My boyfriend got mad when I went out to drink the day before yesterday because I met my ex and he got me drunk. @mrki444

I wouln't manage to stay away when I'm in love. @monster_masterpiece
