I was listening to a broadcast on 94.3 Radio Fm also known as Radio One which we regularly listen to in India.
This Radio channel broadcasts English songs of various eras and genres.
Today morning while driving, I listened to this show named "American Top 40".
On searching, I found that it was an older show and its host Casey Kasem defined the sound of American radio.
As the host of "American Top 40," his warm, velvety voice and genuine empathy turned a simple chart show into a weekly ritual.
He was a master storyteller, weaving fascinating artist trivia and emotional "Long Distance Dedications" between the hits.
Famous for his suspenseful "teasers" and positive energy, he left an enduring legacy with his iconic sign-off: "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars."
Also, I got this associated with Casey Kasem on YouTube :
Have you heard about him before?
