This is the first Captain America where Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) will not use the title. So why is the character replaced? Well he is close becoming Public domain so in able for Marvel to keep ownership of Captain America, They promote less popular superhero "Falcon" and gave him the title Captain America.

In MCU, Steve Rogers travels back in time in 1940s to be reunited with his love, Peggy Carter. So in MCU timeline, Captain America is now an old man on his 90s after aging out after time travel.

He Gave his shield to Falcon and made him the new Captain America.



This is also the MCU debut who Redhulk, He was the father of Betsy, Hulk's wife. he hates Hulk/Bruce Banner so much but he ends up having the powers of his hated Son in law. Oh he is the President of United States.



Many people are nervous it may flop, since its not just the actor they replace in this movie but the character Steve Rogers himself.

They launch Red Hulk probably for a future adaptation of Agents of Smash.

Agents of Smash is a team of Hulks composed of Hulk (Bruce Banner), His cousin She-Hulk, His wife Betty who became Red-Shehulk and his father in law Red Hawk.

Marvel stuff has slowly been going downhill... hard to say if this movie will be successful. Anthony Mackie is fun to watch on screen, but he will always be compared to Chris Evans in this role. I kind of wish they just retired Captain America and Steve Rogers and allowed Falcon to remain in phase 4. Falcon didn't have a lot of story in the previous movies so his character still had potential to grow even if he wasn't Captain America.

I'm personally not interested in Red Hulk.

Miles Morales works as a spiderman because he didn't replace Peter Parker.He is a protoge. He is a reserved character once Peter Parker becomes public domain. But in case of Sam Wilson, he's not fully accepted as Captain America by the fans. It's really a bad timing, especially most fans these days hate race swapping.

I enjoyed watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I think Anthony Mackie is good. It will be hard to follow up Chris Evans as the original Captain America, Steve Rogers though. I think it will be good, not sure if any Marvel movies can top the originals. That was just the golden era of Marvel movies.

Honestly, I think "Captain America: Brave New World" has a good shot at being a hit! With all the hype around the MCU and the new direction they're taking, fans are super curious to see how they’ll develop Sam Wilson as the new Cap. Plus, if they nail the action scenes and the storyline, it could totally blow us away! Fingers crossed for some epic moments!

Ari Agbayani- A Filipino American Captain America. Marvel thought Filipinos will love this but they end up hating her because of her name. Agbayani means Heroic..... Ari is Filipino word for Genitals. Filipinos got mad at Marvel for not researching a name that fits with Filipinos. Ari means genital in Filipino. So her name means Heroic Genitals.

People said its a good movie but its weird to see a Captain American movie without Steve.

My husband and daughter are big fan of Marvel movies and they both feel that Marvel movies are loosing their charm, going downhill. Many fans feel that their golden era is over.
Captain America Brave New world released on Feb 11 and was questioned by critics. But it seems like it has already become a hit on box office with its collection. I read that it's the third highest gross collector in the Hollywood in 2025. The movie is still not released world wide and a lot of hype is built.
So, overall the scene is still very promising

Sounds like it didn't flop, but it's definitely not making headlines like the previous Marvel movies. To be fair though, it's always hard to live up to the original. People always seem to have an unrealistic expectation.
