IRONY? The same governor and state officials pushing this, are also pushing a "Parental Bill of Rights" law.

I guess non-Christian and non-Jewish parents don't have rights! I'm surprised our Muslim and Indian (Hindi and Sikh) populations in Texas are not pushing to have their religious texts incorporated into the educational curriculum too. Why not? Equal Opportunity. Fair is fair.
They need to teach the difference because in another state some idiots damaged a Sikh temple on fire and spray painted that the “Muslim terrorists” should leave their community. IGNORANCE AND BLIND HATRED ON FULL DISPLAY!

UPDATE Nov 22, 2024So! The inclusion of Biblical references was VOTED FOR.
But! School districts can OPT OUT. That means they don't have to include the Bible references in their curriculum.
HOWEVER, school districts will receive an additional $60 per student added to the budget if they OPT IN.
Because a “subtle form of bribery” is … biblical???
