Well that's bound to lead to some crappy dubs. My university used AI to put captions on videos and they're wrong so often it's crazy. It's a pity for captioners too. I've done captioning work, and it's decent money. Captions done by humans are usually a lot more accurate because we can pick up on nuances and check things.

Those phone calls are so hard. People get angry, you pay. Others yell at you for no reason. When you're a phone buyer, people run away from you. You would run away too. And your manager never stops pressuring you. You have to get amazing sales.

A streamer called World of Wonder did AI dub for their reality shows that are not english. The language is translated to english using voice of actual contestants. Not yet done in anime

Really, why dont you look at, look how far advance A.I as become if they do achieve this but I am thinking it wont be for another 1 to 10 years of development depending how much funding is put in to and what developers they have on it.
