Yes making, and keeping friends as a child was a bit of a struggle. Imaginary friends came in really handy especially when our parents didn't want us going outside to play.

I did not have an imaginary friend. But I did use my imagination a lot! When I used to watch movies with my siblings, rather than watch 'til The End, I would quietly sneak off to my room and then imagine how I wanted the movies to end. Of course, I was the star of the movie.
