After Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh , The next public domain character to be corrupted is Cinderella. In this movie Cinderella asked Fairy God Mother that she wants revenge against her Stepmom and Step sisters, Also she wants to eliminate all the threats of her to win the heart of the Prince. Fairygod mother gave Cinderella a demonic mask and this will give her the strength to kill everyone who wronged her.Forget damsels in distress, this Cinderella is all about revenge. Fairy Godmother gets a new request: ditch the carriage, forget the glass slipper, and hand over something a little more… demonic.

I would think there is probably more than one of them, since fairytales have been in the public domain practically forever. The original story was pretty dark to begin with (the sisters cut their feet to try and fit the shoe, and later get attacked in the face by birds) but this movie takes it a step further with the creepy mask bit. Sounds kinda silly, but tbh I'll probably watch it.

There is another one titled Cinderella's curse which reminds me a lot of Carrie, she uses the slipper and her powers to kill people. Here the Prince rejected her because he got manipulated by her stepsisters.

My favourite adaptation of Cinderella so far was Ever After. Not horror, just wholesome.

I must say, the idea is so intriguing. I love the plot twist. I will watch it after I finish Fargo.

There is a 3rd Cinderella horror but the killer is the Stepsister instead. She wants the Prince to be hers. She will swallow tape words to be slim, have her nose hammered to make it less Greek. It will drive her nuts and murderous.

Lol haven't heard about this, but it looks pretty fun to watch. One of these days am going to watch it.
