1. Hygiene purposes if one of your moves is a headlock, its respect and manners to shave your armpit because your opponent's face will be placed on your armpit during a headlock. Male wrestlers who don't shave doesn't do headlocks.

Another Hygiene reason, deodorants cakes on armpit hairs and it looks disgusting on tv. Your wrestling opponent can complain if armpit hair pricks their face.
Aesthetic- Superheroes and videogame characters have no armpit hair, so to have that superhero look, a lot of wrestlers shave, Also it makes the muscles more visible. It also make the application of fake tan spray easier.
Desexualization - Despite being half naked pro-wrestlers are kid friendly and family friendly personas. Some weird people have hairy armpit fetish. So shaving is a way to desexualize them to keep them pg. It makes also helps their performance to move faster. Swimmers shave armpits to be more aerodynamic, wrestlers do it for the same reason.

Its a Minty sticker like bandage they put on wrestlers if they are in pain. Athletic tape have tendency to stick and tangle armpit hair.

It's bizarre that anyone worries about this. I mean, if it's the done thing to shave in the sport so people don't get hair scratching their face, fair enough, but it's not really a hygiene issue (just wash your armpits!) and the sexualising part is ridiculous. You might as well insist that they cover their feet because a small minority of people are aroused by looking at feet.

Avoiding athletic tape sticking makes sense too, although I wouldn't think athletic tape would normal go in your armpits. More likely to have issues with back hair or chest hair.

In case of women, they require to use pnaty liners down there to stop the scent because if you are a woman's wrestler, your face will be locked on someone'a groin somewhere in the match

All the reasons that you mentioned are logical to go for shaving. If it's the requirement in the sports, they should go ahead with it. Not sure why people make fuss around everything.

If you wash daily there really shouldn't be a "fish sauce" scent. Scented sanitary products are bad for you. Perfumes don't belong on such sensitive parts of the body.
