I like joining online communities and forums - if I can join for free - and started looking for discussion groups made up of people who talk about Korean dramas.
A longtime member of the Quora Q&A but I started my own space to chat with people about Korean dramas.
The site where I contribute K-drama reviews - PopGeeks - also has a Kdrama forum.
Today (May 21, 2024) I joined the community on My Drama List.
You might ask: Why bother joining these groups?
There is a method to my madness. These online communities and forums are great backlinks. They already have a respected reputation and show up often on search engine results.
If you want to build your brand or reputation, then create a profile on these sites. If you are active, your profile may also show up in search results. If you have other content that you are trying to monetize, these sites usually let you share your link to those sites via your profile, then it might redirect traffic to your sites so you can earn.
I have been doing this "madness" for almost ten years. Believe it or not, every once and a while links to my profiles or sites show up in the search results on the frst or second page. The goal however is to get on the first page. Most people don't go past the first pages.
What do you think of my SEO strategy?
Do you have a strategy to make your presence online more visible and direct traffic to your monetized content?
