Nickelodeon controversies

Postby Netherrealmer » 02 Apr 2024, 18:00

Anyone who watch the docu series Quiet on Set? It shows the darkside of the Cable Channel Nickelodeon. This network is mostly known for cartoons but they also did live action kid shows with teen leads.

One of their top teenstars there is Drake Bell and he admitted that he got raped by some of the upper people in Nickelodeon! Drake quits Hollywood in favor of Mexican Music scene. He sings in Spanish and he felt more safe being a celebrity in Mexico over Hollywood.

One of the biggest stars of Nickelodeon is Ariana Grande, She is not raped but the Producer of her tv shows back then is a creepy foot fetish guy who makes her do comedy skits where she have to lick her own foot.

This is suppose to be funny but It is obvious they were sexualizing her as a teen.

Jeannette McCurdie quits acting because of the trauma and abuse she got from Nickelodeon set.

Here is a summary of all the abuse Nickelodeon is involved with:

Miranda Cosgrove is one of the few Nickelodeon Childstars who got lucky to not get abused because her mother never leave her alone with producers and directors.

It's so sad because this affects the actors. Some can even end their career, to their careers can end up being affected or derailed. I sure wish them a happy recovery from all this.

Additionally, the stigma and fear associated with speaking out about abuse can create significant barriers to career advancement and opportunities.

Making people under 16 years of age work is defined as child labor according to International law but sadly entertainment is the only industry that is exception to this rule. Not just in the US, I have heard of child abuse cases in the entertainment industry in many countries

When I see the case of Drake Bell being raped by Brian Peck, I am always lost in thoughts how a grown adult would find a kid as fragile as they are sexually attractive. It just beats my imagination. Even for a famed organisation like Nickelodeon, one can't just confidently handover kids to them and believe they are save.

The original Logo of Nickelodeon is the symbol of the foot fetish of the founder.

Image

I have nothing against foot fetish because I use to sell my foot pictures in exchange of bitcoins but Im a consenting adult. The foot fetish of the nickelodeon founder is to kids.

Someone needs to follow this up so that those who did such silly things are held accountable and prosecuted by the relevant legal institutions against such crimes. Of course, there is so much that goes on in the entertainment industry that we are all not aware of. It is really sad that this is the case.

if your son or daughter is under 18 and wants to be an actor, ask them to finish college first so they wont be exploited by pedophiles in entertainment industry

I just notice Nickledon in Star Trek: Prodigy. Main stars are kids and Captain Jaineway. She is vice admiral now.
I never connected Star Trek with any production house. Just with Gene Roddenberry.

That logo of Nickelodeon being a representation of the owner's foot fetish makes everything look true. I believe that investigations would be carried out and justice would be served if there are true. It is crazy how these things happen in such reputable institutions.

Allowing kids to rush into stardom is really scary. The allegations against Nickelodeon and child molestation might be exaggerated but there are elements of truths to it if you look closely. Just hoping they are not favoured by the institutions.

Can Nickledon defense based on everything is signed by parents? Kids are minors and parents must sign and should be in control, ask kids what happend while they work and report signs.
