Do You Like Time Travel Korean Dramas?

Postby cmoneyspinner » 14 Mar 2024, 20:47

Evidently, Korean scriptwriters love time travel. I have to say I kind of like them too.

There are two different kinds.
(1) The kind where they mix a time period from ancient Korea with modern-day Korea.
(2) Then they have the time travel periods where the person just goes back a few decades like 1980 versus 2000.

Here are some of the time travel K-dramas I liked:

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Rooftop Prince
Live Up to Your Name
My Only Love Song
Perfect Stranger
Mr. Queen

Have you watched these OR do you have any K-dramas you want to recommend?

I've only really watched ones where it was a mixture of period drama and the present day, like in Hotel Del Luna (loved that one). I would like to watch some of the ones you've mentioned though. It's been a while since I got into a good K-drama.

My daughters usually watch these dramas with interest. We basically knows nothing about the language we just watch the translation.

Maybe I will be considered odd but I have never seen a korean drama and honestly I don't have interest in watching that sort of shows.

Well if you're odd then my kids are odd too. If I put a K-drama on TV and they're in the room with me, they leave the room.
