Stephanie Myers reboots twilight books

Postby Netherrealmer » 27 Nov 2023, 14:34

She switched the genders of Bella and Eduard. Its now about a 17 year old boy names Beau who falls for an 104 year old vampire girl named Edythe who pretends to be a highschool girl. I guess this writer is running out of ideas.

She did say a twilight movies will be made today. She wants Jenna Ortega and Jacob Elordi.

Seriously?! Wow! That's bizarre. I wonder if her writing skills have improved over the years? I read the first Twilight book and it was awful.

When someone has had such a huge success behind them, it must be very tempting to capitalise on that success again and use it as a basis for a new release that will take in a lot of money, even if the new version is not great in its own right. It's most probably the reason why quality movies, often have disappointing sequels.

I read The Twilight books, I liked and it was a huge success but I don't think she will have the same success if she doesn't use something new and different, if the story is how you say then it won't have a big mistery.

Oh well, I am speechless honestly. I hope they don't turn it into a movie though cause I don't want to watch it. I am okay with the first twilight.

It would have even make more sense if she had written a story about the their daughter or something like that. I guess it's still part of the woman empowerment movement or whatever they call it these days.
